At 22, Belgian entrepreneur Goran Kranjec founded Domicilix after noticing a problem that many families experience firsthand. When an older person or someone living with a disability needs support at home, finding reliable help is not always easy, particularly during evenings, weekends, nights or in urgent situations.
What started as a local initiative in Belgium has since developed into a technology platform connecting families with home care professionals. Domicilix focuses on non-medical home assistance, helping families find professionals while giving care providers digital tools to manage their everyday work.
The company has grown steadily through direct experience with families and professionals. Today, more than 600 home care professionals are registered on the platform, alongside more than 1,500 beneficiaries. The Domicilix ecosystem has also generated more than €1 million in home care services.
A key part of this growth has been Domicilix Pro, a dedicated SaaS platform designed for care professionals, with tools for client management, scheduling, invoicing and payments. In 2026, the company also launched its mobile app on iOS and Android.
Now, Kranjec is looking beyond Belgium. With Domicilix preparing to expand into northern France, his focus is on building a scalable European platform while keeping the human side of home care central to the business.
For Kranjec, the journey is ultimately about making it easier for people to remain safely and comfortably at home, with the right support when they need it.
