Namespace, a Zurich-founded developer infrastructure startup, has raised $42 million in Series B funding, just seven months after closing its Series A. The round was led by Scale Venture Partners, with participation from 20VC, NEA, Essence, Burst Capital and angel investors including Olivier Pomel, CEO of Datadog.
Founded in 2022 by former Google principal engineer Hugo Santos, Namespace is building infrastructure designed to help software teams and AI coding agents build, test and run code faster. Its platform allows engineering teams to accelerate development without taking on the complexity of managing infrastructure themselves.
The company will use the new funding to accelerate product development and expand its compute and server operations. Namespace is positioning its technology as an infrastructure layer for the growing use of AI coding agents, which are changing how quickly software can be developed and tested.
Namespace currently works with organisations including SpaceXAI, Ramp, Framer, ElevenLabs and Vanta. The latest investment brings additional capital as the company expands its infrastructure platform for modern software development.
