French cybersecurity startup Fleuret AI has raised €4 million in a pre-seed funding round to develop an AI-powered platform designed to help companies identify and address security vulnerabilities continuously. The round was led by RAISE Ventures, with participation from Auriga Cyber Ventures, Wind, Better Angle and business angels from the cybersecurity sector.
Founded by Yanis Grigy, CEO, and Augustin Ponsin, CTO, Fleuret AI is working to change how companies approach penetration testing. Instead of relying only on occasional security audits, the startup is developing technology that can continuously monitor a company’s systems and identify potential weaknesses as its digital environment changes.
The platform uses two AI agents, Emile and Champollion, to explore applications, APIs and infrastructure, identify vulnerabilities and test whether they can actually be exploited. The system can also provide proof of compromise, helping security teams understand the seriousness of each issue.
Fleuret AI plans to use the new funding to expand its teams across AI, software development and offensive cybersecurity. The company is targeting the European market, with its AI agents operated from Europe on European infrastructure to support data sovereignty requirements.
